February Member of the Month Spotlight – Jodie Pelton

I am so excited to announce that the February Member of the Month is Jodie Pelton!

Jodie Pelton

Jodie has been an amazing addition to the Forever Fit SCV Family and we couldn’t be more proud of her progress.  She has changed a ton of habits constantly strives to be the BEST version of herself that she can be.

In 2014, Jodie won the Body Fat % category of our Back to School, Back in Shape Transformation Challenge and was able to lose 2% body fat in only 6 weeks.  She has a motivation to change that is unmatched and we look forward to even more awesome changes in the future.

I was able to catch up with Jodie to find out why she has been so successful and here’s what she had to say:

Craig: Why did you start training at Forever Fit SCV?

Jodie: I started training at Forever Fit SCV because I was looking for something different then just going to the gym and using a boring elliptical machine and using weight machines that I didn’t even know how to use properly.  I was not having results, so I joined the New Year New You transformation contest.  I loved the training sessions.  The classes are fun and challenging and I could definitely feel the exercises working every part of my body.  The contest ended and I was hooked, I new I could not go back to a regular boring gym

Craig: What has made you so successful at Forever Fit SCV?

Jodie: Just actually committing and going to class.  I would always make up an excuse to not go to the gym.  But I honestly enjoy the training and cardio classes at Forever Fit SCV.  I rarely have a day that I dread going to workout.

Craig: What is the biggest obstacle you have had to overcome during your fitness transformation?

Jodie: Healthy eating.  I love to eat and I love to eat food that is not good for me.  This is still a struggle for me but I’m getting better at making healthier choices everyday.

Craig: What advice would you offer to others who are just starting out on their fitness journey or have hit a road block?

Jodie: To make small goals and try to achieve them.  And to just keep pushing and don’t give up if you have a bad day, bad week, bad month.  You can get back on track.

Craig: What drives you to ‘KEEP MAKIN’ CHANGES’?

Jodie: My kids and Husband!  I want to be healthy so I can be here for them.
